Rt. Rev. Christopher Bryant, PhD, DMin

Bishop Christopher Bryant is an episcopate and a man of many interests, gifts, and talents. He is a dutiful and loving husband to the Very Rev. Maisha T Bryant, SMG, MA, DMin. as well as a father to Deborah and Hadassah.

Ecclesiastically, he serves as the Presiding Bishop of the International Covenant of Pentecostal-Orthodox Churches. He also serves as the Abbot of the Ecumenical Order of Archbishop Veron Ashe (OAVA). Additionally, he serves as the Teaching Pastor and the Online Pastor at The House That Love Built.

Educationally, He is the Founder and President of The Kerygma Educational System, a consortium of schools of higher education: The Kerygma University, the Kerygma School for Holy Orders, and Exagora Theological Seminary. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Midwestern School of Divinity and Metropolitan Christian University and as an Affiliate Faculty at Kairos University.

Entrepreneurially, he serves as the president of the C|Suite Group, a group of enterprises and endeavors centered around Christ, Quality and Customer Service. These include: The C|Suite Agency, Sacred Embassy, Signature Vestments, the C|Suite for Churches, The Heraldic Division, and The Greater Than Publishing Group.

He is the Author of 5 books: Fear Not; The Week that Changed The World; Jesus Speaks From the Cross; Apostolic Succession; and Anchored in Hope

He holds a Bachelors of Arts in Theological Studies, a Masters of Divinity and a PhD in Religious Studies from Metropolitan Christian University. In addition, he holds a PhD in Religious Education from Bible University and a D.Min. from Kairos University. He also holds a Graduate Certificate in Episcopal Studies from the Graduate School of Episcopal Studies, a Diploma in Episcopal Studies from MCU, a Pastoral Diploma from Cathedral University, and a Certification in Pastoral Counseling. In 2004 he was awarded the Honorary Doctorate of Divinity from the Church of Interfaith Christians USA.

His Episcopal motto is: “Receive the Sacraments and Live” and all things he wishes to serve others.
